Big Sound

DJ Dumplings boasts a big sound system for both your dancefloor and background music.

Inventory: Electro Voice ETX 15p (x2), Electro Voice ETX 18sp Subwoofers (x2), Electro Voice Everse 12″ Battery Powered (x2), Electro Voice Everse 8″ Battery Powered (x2), QSC KW12.2 (x2), LD Stinger 15G3 Subwoofers (x2) and Bose S1 Pro (x4).

Quite often by using DJ Dumplings’ sound system, you will experience a better sound system and will save on hiring an external sound provider.

Sound Coverage

Having additional speakers mean we don’t have to blast your guests from one side of the room for the other guests to hear music and speeches on the other side of the room. The additional speakers can either be set-up with cable connection or run wirelessly.

Add an extra level entertainment by plugging in either your instrument or the band’s.

Song Edits

Song editing is available for all sorts of occasions but usually for dance choreographies.

Shortening Songs

If you don’t want to dance an entire song, we can look at bringing one of the last choruses forward to replace the first or 2nd chorus of a song so you still have a nice ending.

Mash-up / Splicing Multiple Songs

Whether it’s for a flashmob or a fun choreography with your homies – you might need a multi-song edit.

Most times, the editing is done via GarageBand and other times depending on our creative direction, I will mix and record a live version or two.

Here’s how we get started:

1. Start by linking me the versions of the songs you wish to use preferably from Spotify

2. You can advise timestamps of each song you wish to retain or remove

3. Or you can provide some guidance and I will make some recommendations

4. The edited songs will be either emailed to you or downloadable from a link

Most important song / choreography song edits are unlimited with each booking within reason

In-House Sound

Sometimes your venue may have noise restrictions or have a an incredible in-house sound system and AV team which means we should prioritise in-house speakers instead.

We can discuss your options to give you the best outcomes.
