   DJ Dumplings is the best of the best!

Damus was recommended to us by another wedding vendor, & we could not be happier with the recommendation. He was professional, reliable & efficient. Communicated with us throughout the entire process & delivered exactly what we wanted. He goes absolutely above & beyond for your event, & even further than that.    Booking DJ Dumplings was easily the best decision we made for our wedding. He went so far above and beyond to make sure our entire day ran seamlessly from start to finish. From coordinating behind the scenes with our photographer, celebrant, and venue coordinator to keeping our timeline completely on track, he took all the stress off our shoulders so we could actually enjoy our party. We had a slightly convoluted timeline, with a group dance transitioning into a live band of our friends for an hour and then back to Damus. Damus made sure all the transitions ran smoothly and the dancefloor ran with our mix of music all night (we had a challenging mix of Aussie rock, punk rock, hip hop, RNB, indian music and a few random extras like Johnny B Goode from our guests).

Taking advantage of his extra services and add-ons elevated the entire evening:
Ceremony & Speech Sound: The wireless mic setup and audio clarity were flawless—not a single feedback glitch, and every guest heard every vow and speech clearly. He also keeps a recording directly from the microphone for us to re-live the wedding ceremony
Lighting & Atmosphere: His uplighting package completely transformed our reception venue space, shifting perfectly from warm dinner ambiance to high-energy party lighting.
Finally his DJ mix: The amount of work he does to prepare the mix after you give him a list of songs, (whether its english songs or bangers from other cultures), he mixed them so effortlessly and made sure everyone had a great time.

Damus didn't just play great music—he built the atmosphere and kept the whole night flowing effortlessly and all of our friends are still talking about him months later. He also had so many little extras that we were thinking of organising ourselves, but didn’t have to because he had it all included! Thank you Damus for helping make our day perfect!

   If my husband and I could give a 1000 star rating we would.

Damus was amazing from the very beginning. We knew from the moment we had our first video call that Damus would bring the exact energy we needed for the dance floor but also throughout the day. Damus wasn't only an amazing DJ but he also provided support to our vendors and they all worked so well together.

Everyone loved the DJ dumpling plushies and the rave glasses on the dancefloor were a hit. Damus and his lovely wife were also able to help us preserve our flowers and we were able to share with our friends and family.

Thank you again Damus! We cannot thank you enough for helping making our wedding so memorable! You were definitely the highlight of the wedding for many!

   TL;DR Damus is a gem to have at your wedding so book in with him before he books out!

We decided to get in contact with Damus after my husband met him at a friend's wedding, and all communication was smooth from the beginning. Damus was responsive and friendly, and was very passionate about providing ways to compliment the various different ideas we had for our wedding as well as floating additional suggestions for brainstorming.

He was also very accommodating and accepted our last minute request for adding ceremony service without hesitation! Damus truly went above and beyond for us, from preparing for our Bring Me game, crowd reading and sound reactions, the bedazzled mics for our reception entry - he definitely made everything much more memorable. We already had friends asking for his contact for family & friends, one week after our wedding!

Damus' video guestbook & offerings of other video recordings were also very much appreciated for someone like me who loves seeing the BTS of the day!

My only regret is not posting this review sooner, but I really wanted to write an extensive review for Damus and all my other vendors on the day! They absolutely deserve it and I would recommend them always! ♥️

   DJ Dumplings is THE DJ I would recommend to anyone. Back when we started planning our wedding, we were looking for a DJ that would match our vibe. Struggling to find one, we obtained a list of recommendations from our celebrant. going through them we immediately knew DJ Dumplings was the one.

We were impressed on the level of detail on Damus's website, all the information is detailed and really helped us plan out what we wanted.

Damus is the friendliest and most chill person, he gave us 400% energy and went above and beyond for us, both in the lead up and on the day. During the lead up he helped us with many edits of our first dance mashup (did several edits in the same day, super quick!). He walked us through and guided us through his process on the first meeting. Gave us several ideas as well.

On the day he turned up, and brought several cameras with him, and offered to record our wedding, as we didn't have any videography this was very much appreciated on our special day.

Communication was amazing as well, either via email or whatsapp he always makes himself available.

He came with a lot of extra surprises and goodies too, which I won't give away, you ll just have to hire him as your DJ!

   DJ DUMPLINGS is a rare and wondrous phenomenon in the Wedding World. He brings the magic behind the decks and in front of them. From setting up cameras at the ceremony to playing the best beats to thinking on the spot to make a moment slap to collaborating with the other vendors...he is A GUN! I've never met a DJ who worked as hard or was as born for this gig as Damus. I should know...I'm a Celebrant and MC. I've seen the best and the worst DJs. We are honestly so excited reading your message — thank you for sending the ceremony recordings through! We cannot wait to relive everything. The 4-angle CCTV edit already sounds iconic 😂 and we’re so grateful you’re including all the separate angles too. That means so much to us.

But more than that, we just want to say thank you — truly, from the bottom of our hearts. You went above and beyond in every possible way on our wedding day. It wasn’t just about the music (which was absolutely perfect, by the way). It was the way you coordinated every song so seamlessly, how you stepped in to help with chairs without even being asked, and how you just carried the entire vibe of the night so effortlessly.

You are genuinely such a joyful, positive presence. The energy you bring is unmatched — you are the life of the party in the best way possible! Everyone loved the dance moves, the hype, the smooth transitions — everything. You made the night feel alive.

Adrian especially admires you so much and would absolutely love to catch up whenever you’re free (we know you’re a busy man!) but since we are neighbours thought I will try our luck)We’d love to sit down, relive the night, maybe show you some wedding photos too, and just properly thank you in person.

We are also so grateful for the footage you captured — that is something we will treasure forever.

   Don't bother looking elsewhere, Dr Dumplings is the best 💖 We were lucky enough to have him DJ our wedding, and from the first day of booking him up until our special day, he has been nothing but attentive, supportive and reliable. He genuinely cared for our wedding, and went above and beyond during all planning and the wedding itself.

During the Ceremony, he even got down on his knees to scrub away some dirt on our aisle with his handkerchief 😭 He adjusted all music to fit the crowd and atmosphere, and was a perfect DJ and cared as a friend would. So much love and heart, and our big day wouldn't have been the same DJ Dumplings 🥟

Hands and feet down would recommend him to any event, and we hope to see him in future ones 😎

   Damus is an amazing DJ. When we first saw him at a different wedding, we knew right away we wanted him at ours, being the very first wedding vendor we booked!

He has gone above and beyond what we could have expected, extremely responsive, making all the edits for our wedding and even helping us compile our playlists, being an absolute hit with people of all ages, especially his compiled Vietnamese playlist!

The button game Damus had going on was also an absolute hit at our wedding, alongside his music choice and sound effects, coordinating with MC Trung (TMT) during our wedding games as well as adding funny sound effects to our wedding speeches and an absolute banger of a dance floor with light up party glasses he surprised us with!

We will be recommending DJ Dumplings to everyone we know and hope to see him again at the next few weddings we attend !

   Damus was an amazing DJ and we cannot thank him enough for his help in the lead up to and most importantly the day of the wedding. He's incredibly passionate at what he does and that means everything to us. He has gone above and beyond! All of our friends and family absolutely loved his set (including uncles and aunties 😊). We loved the setup he had with the lighting, how he jammed with our saxophone player, and we loved that he kept the vibes and energy going to the very last second of our reception.

Damus, you've made the reception so special for us.

We really hope to randomly bump into you at other weddings – just to say hello, and also because it’s guaranteed going to be a blast if you're around.
